This site is a playground of an ongoing learning of website building. I like Cheetah, and thus related content appears here.

About

The cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) is the undisputed speed champion of the animal kingdom. Built like a track athlete, this remarkable big cat is the fastest land mammal on Earth, capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just three seconds and reaching top speeds of around 70 miles per hour.

Unlike other big cats that rely on brute strength to overpower their prey, the cheetah relies on tactical precision and pure agility. Every part of its body is aerodynamically engineered for high-speed chases - long, muscular legs and flexible spine to its heavy, rudder-like tail that provides balance during sharp, high-speed turns.

Recognizable by their slender bodies, pale yellow coats covered in solid black spots, and distinctive black "tear tracks" running from the inside corners of their eyes down to their mouths, cheetahs are perfectly built for the daytime. These tear lines act like natural sunglasses, reducing the glare of the harsh African sun while they scan the savannah for their next meal.
